Here are some things you can find us doing !

In 2023

*$10,000 in college scholarships to young adults continuing their education in Ag related industries.

*$3,000 given to youth towards the purchase of their first show animal, through our animal grant program for those that applied at the Whatcom County Youth Fair.

*Provided breakfast and snacks for the youth participating in the Puget Sound Jr. Livestock Show.

*Sponsored every youth participating in showing a beef at the NWWF, 38 kids!! $3,800.00

*Bought all the awards for the kids showing beef at the NWWF $2,200.00

*Donated money to Whatcom Family Farmers

*Attending water adjudication meetings.

Whatcom County Cattlemen's Association understands that the youth is our future. If we do not get behind our youth who are interested in Agriculture, there is no future for Agriculture.
